The second… much delayed mexico post

Well it’s been a while but we finally found a net cafe with high speed. It’s taken about 2 hours to get these pictures up but I think it’s worth it. Merry Xmas and happy new year everyone! Sandi and I are healthy and loving Mexico so much.

This is the kiteboarding beach in Los Barilles, the first pic is Simon and myself after getting beaten up by the surf. What an awesome sport!

Sandi, timidly checking out the Emus.

This is at the Zoo just outside of Los Barriles, kinda crappy conditions but I guess my ethical standpoint doesn’t have much sway in small town Mexico.

These are our friends in Los Barriles. Ian and Megan who run Exotikite kiteboarding

Mack and Phil are beside them, Dave and Hunter, then Simon the british dive master . We cooked diner for everyone at Ian and Megans house, it was so nice to use a real kitchen.
This is the sunset taken from the ferry from La Paz to Topolabombo.
This is Sayulita beach, kinda gringo heaven. Seems like everyone speaks English and the waves are so overcrowded it’s ridiculous.

Maybe the best BBQ joint in the world, a huge plate of sizzlin meat with veggies, salsa, tortillas and beer.
These are some shots of La Ticla, Amazing surfing, great campsite on the river overlooking the surf and sweet hammock spots.

This is Christmas diner at La Ticla. Surrounded by fellow Vancouver islanders and Yon our German neighbor.
Weagle, the Pinatta Master from Victoria BC.
